FAQS ABOUT LIVE ESCAPE ROOM GAMES
HOW MUCH DOES A LIVE ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE COST?
It is $29/person for The Lost City of Z and Tick, Tock… BOOM! (1 hour missions) and $23/person for LABYRINTH (45 minute mission).
CAN I SCHEDULE A TIME OUTSIDE OF THE SET MISSION TIMES?
Yes. Custom events/times can be organized Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.
Contact us for escape room availability. It is required to purchase 6 or more tickets and to make your request at least 1 WEEK in advance.
AM I REALLY LOCKED IN THE ESCAPE ROOM?
Yes, but don’t worry– there is an emergency door in the escape room in case something goes horribly wrong, however, you’ll feel much more accomplished if you solve the puzzles to escape the room!
CAN I BUY A GIFT VOUCHER?
Yes, we have gift vouchers available here for groups ranging from 2-12, so you can choose the right voucher for your escape game gifting needs!
DO I HAVE TO BOOK THE WHOLE ESCAPE GAME MISSION TO PARTICIPATE?
Nope! You can have a minimum of 2 people on your team to play LABYRINTH and a minimum of 4 people to play The Lost City of Z and Tick, Tock…Boom!. There is the possibility you will be teamed up with other people in the same mission if you book less than the maximum spaces of your mission. If you do not wish to be teamed up, you will have to book all spaces for that particular time slot. If you have a team of more than the maximum amount of people, please contact us to discuss special arrangements for your escape mission.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO MY ESCAPE GAME MISSION?
Just your friends and your thinking cap! No personal items are allowed in the room, including purses and phones, but we do provide you with a secure place to keep your personal items.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE ESCAPE ROOM AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The entire experience takes about 75 minutes. Please show up 10 minutes prior to your scheduled mission time for your mission briefing. Please make sure your team is on time as you will enter the mission together. The door will lock at your mission time and will not open until you ESCAPE or when the 60 minutes is up. There will be a 5 minute debriefing and photo op after the mission.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO PLAY THE ESCAPE ROOMS?
To get the most out of the experience, we only allow the missions for people aged 7+. All children between the age of 7 and 15 years old, MUST be accompanied by an adult IN THE ROOM. In the event parents leave their children unaccompanied, a $250 babysitting fee will be charged.
Infants may tag along with you at no charge ONLY if they are in a carrier, as the rooms are not baby-proof. Your group must also reserve the whole mission if an infant is present.
We reserve the right to reschedule your group’s mission if you do not follow these guidelines.
ARE WALK-INS WELCOME?
The way to book an experience at Boise Escape is to pre-purchase your tickets online. Our Friday evening and Saturday games can be booked as little as 20 minutes in advance. Our Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoon, and Sunday escape games can be booked as little as 4 hours in advance.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO AN ESCAPE ROOM RESERVATION OR GET A REFUND?
There are no refunds, but we would be happy to re-book your game for a better time as long as you give us at least 48 hours of notice.

ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, our building is wheelchair accessible and our live escape games are wheelchair accessible with a few caveats. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
DOES BOISE ESCAPE ON WHEELS EVER LEAVE THE TREASURE VALLEY?

IS SHOWING UP TO MY ESCAPE ROOM MISSION INTOXICATED A GOOD IDEA?
Please refrain from showing up to your live mission in an intoxicated state– it makes it difficult for both you and the game operator. Save the celebration for after you escape. 😉 We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated individuals.
